The topic was about the cooperation between the Hungarian social actors. The participants were asked about their already existing cooperation activities and also we asked their oppinion about the operation of the future mentor-network. Varga Tamás, the head of WWOOF Hungary, introduced the technical possibilities about it, and the participants shared with us their views. We got feedbacks like they would need professionals in the networks, who could be asked by the participants. Also they thought the place of it would be good the LLOOF website, the form of it a "forum" kind. We also discussed about the cooperation in sale, we shared our existing experiences in cooperation and the non existing social farming law. Participants were the Earth Country House Szociális Szövetkezet, Patrónus Ház, Dombtető Póni klub, GDCKE and the Nyitott Kert Alapítvány

The 2nd focus group meeting focused on the applied/well-established methods with disabled and/or disadvantaged people by the farm management. Discussed questions on the 2nd focus group meeting were: - Are there any development method for disadvantaged/disabled people in your institute? - What’s your methodology and how can you measure it’s efficiency? Do you consider suitable the current methods? The participants were interested in the measurement method (Three Stage Process) of Ruskin Mill Trust. Matthew Hayes participated and he let us know briefly in the topic as he spent the last two years in the UK as employee of the RMT. Participants agreed, social farms in Hungary are developing in other system than in Western Europe, they grow rather from social institutes than farms. Social farms need to stand on several legs, for example work out services for paying costumers (e.g. addicted people) as well. Besides that there was some useful suggestions about the pilot training timing. The participants prefer February, March, April as the most suitable months for the training and somebody suggested would be effective if 2 participants could take part from one institute (financial expert, social expert). Participants: Értelmi Sérültek Gyöngyház Egyesülete; ESSRG Kutatócsoport; Fóti Waldorf iskola; Patrónus Ház; Nefelejcs Értelmi Fogyatékosok Napközi Otthona; Farm Alapú Nevelésért Egyesület; FELE-MÁS Egyesület; Zsámboki Biokert; Csömöri Összefogás Nonprofit Kft. |
